The Buckinghamshire Best Kept Villages 2010 are:
Buckland (Gurney Cup), runners-up Fulmer and Weston Underwood
Cuddington (Morris Cup), runner-up Great Brickhill
Cheddington (DeFraine Cup), runner-up Seer Green
Olney (Michaelis Cup), runner-up Buckingham
Chalfont St Giles (Pushman Cup), runner-up Great Kingshill
Haddenham (Tindall Cup), runner-up Marlow

Olney High Street, 10.30am
Cheddington, village green at 12.00pm
Buckland, 12.30pm
Chalfont St Giles, the green at 2.00pm
Haddenham, Church End at 3.00pm
Cuddington, 3.30pm
The competition judges assess features in the villages such as recreation grounds, village halls, graveyards and war memorials for good maintenance and lack of litter. Competition chairman Richard Pushman commented: "We are witnessing an ever increasing standard of enthusiam in our villages and towns to maintain and improve their appearnace and environmnet. My contratulations go to the hard working body of volunteers who are keen to maintain the standards of the competition."
The Best Kept Village Competition is sponsored by Bucks County Council, Milton Keynes Council and the district councils from Aylesbury Vale, Chiltern and Wycombe.
